7. Sizes

This is the Section to add all the variables in terms of sizes of products or depending on your items it could the frequency in terms of a calendar or wave bands for example. You may wish to add the usual sizes, i.e. Small, medium or large etc. However here are some other possible uses for the section “Sizes”
Daily, Weekly, Monthly
Front, Middle, Back
Lower, Centre, Upper
1GB, 5GB, 10GB
100Hz, 500Hz, 900Hz
10cm, 50cm, 100cm
1mtr, 5mtr, 100mtr

The limitations are numerous depending upon the type of items you are selling.

This section is the same layout as the Colours section and therefore the method of use is very similar. In the space next to “Size: “type in the size you wish to add. Let’s add the size “Large” Click “Add new size” you will see the item listed and also the message;

Size "Large" added.

If you wish to delete a size, find the size in the list and click “Delete”. The following message will appear:

You are about to delete the size "Large".
Do you really want to proceed?

If so, click “proceed” otherwise click “Cancel” and it will return to the previous setting. You may wish to simply update the size, perhaps a spelling mistake. Let’s say for example you have spelled “Large” as “Larg” and need to correct it.

On the line where you see “Larg” simply highlight the word using your cursor and type over it with the correct spelling then click the “Rename” button.

You will then see the message:

Size changed.

The listed size will now be as you want it. Any changes can be made this same way each time. You might wish for the sizes to all be in lower case and you have typed the first letter as a Capital. All changes you make are in real time.

Please note:

If you try to delete a size that has already been linked to an item you will see the following message if you click the “delete” button:

Sorry, this size cannot be deleted. There are some items in the store associated with "Large" size.

In order to delete the size linked to an item, please refer to section 8. “Item” here you will find simple step by step instructions.

If however you simply need to modify a size, perhaps the item size was “Large” and the new batch has arrived but they are “Extra-large”. In this instance you simply highlight the size you wish to change; type over the corrected name and click on the “Rename” button.

You will again see the message:

Size changed.
