3. Brands

This is where you have the option of creating all brands of the products in your store including uploading of brand or type logos or emblems. The logos will be automatically re-sized to fit the store. You can changes images, rename brands or even hide them from view on the shop front.

First define at least one BRAND type. Click on Brands in the top menu.

In the space next to “Manufacture Type / Brand Name: “type in the brand name of the product you sell i.e. Nokia. If you have a suitable logo you wish to upload from your own document then simply click “browse” on the tab below and select the desired picture.
Once uploaded click “Add new manufacture Type/Brand”. Depending on the size it may take a few moments to upload the image.

Repeat this process for all the possible brands or types of products you may have to your Fine Store. You can of course add more in the future as your business grows. As not all products are branded it is recommended that you add one type as “N/A” which you can then use for all of your other items.

Use “Rename” to change the listed name or correct an error. Simply type the current brand name over the old name and click “Rename”. This will be updated immediately and will show at the beginning of the relevant line.

Use “Delete” to remove the brand. If you wish to remove the brand from your Fine Store, click “Delete”. You will then be taken to another screen where you will see a warning:

Do you really want to proceed?

If you click on “Proceed” the brand will be deleted, however if any items have been added to this brand you will not be able to delete the brand. Remove the item first then proceed to (2b) again. If you do not wish to delete the brand simply click “Cancel”.

Use “Hide” to prevent your customers from seeing a particular brand on the shop front. Items relating to the hidden brand will still be visible under the categories etc sections. The hide button is useful when a brand promotion is being done and you wish to “hide” the non promoted brands.

Use “Change” when you wish to use a different image for the brand. Click “Change” and on the next screen click “browse” and select your new image then click “modify”

You may repeat these steps as often as you like, there is no limit to the number of brands you can add or how many times you can change or update them.
